Take a look at what Y4JB created during ‘Waste Week’ – a waterfall & boats, reusing everyday items. They had a great time learning more about the importance of the 3R’s – Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.
Y4JB I’d like to know what you learnt:
Why is it important to Reuse?
What do we do at school to help to Reduce, Reuse & Recycle?
How do you help to Reduce, Reuse & Recycle at home?
Looking forward to your replies
Thanks for all your donations to ‘The Brick’ Y4JB, I am sure that they will make good use of them to help people who are less fortunate than ourselves. You can find out more about the ‘Food Bank’ at ‘The Brick’ by following the link http://www.thebrick.org.uk/index.php/what-we-do/food-bank.
An amazing art day Year 4, you have produced some fantastic pieces of art taking inspiration from traditional Indian Rangoli patterns. Take a look below at the photos of your artwork, they aren’t quite finished but I thought that you’d like to show your parents what you have managed to produce during the day. I have also included the large group backgrounds that you created. Ask your parents what they think about your artwork and then share it on our blog.
We would like to know what you know about habitats. Please share your ideas on our blog, here are some questions to get you thinking:
- What is a habitat?
- What type of habitats do you know about?
- Where might you find the habitats that you know about?
- Who lives in those habitats?
Looking forward to reading your ideas.
